Hi! Thank you for visiting my web page! I just want to let you know a little about me. First of all, I believe in God first, family second and job third.
I am a homemaker and a grandma, and a proud grandma at that! You will hear me talk a lot about my grandkids and my family on this page. They are such an important part of my life. Check back often, as I will update this page frequenty!
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Sam. He was my first date! We have been married for 35 years. We have two daughters, Heather and Christy; son-in-law Stuart and two grandchildren.
We go to a local church, Mountain Life. If you are in the area, please join us. I go to two Women's Bible studies. One is at church and one is through our neighborhood where we have some ladies get together.
My interests include sewing, reading, movies, t.v. family time and of course shopping! Joann's for sure know me, and even in Loveland Joann's people call me the "Purse Lady"! I really should not shop so much!
Although I do enjoy these, it seems that besides my Bible studies, doing some sewing, mostly what I do is go to the doctor. However; I am learning all about the 'TEXTING" world!
In this section, I will update frequently what is going on in my life.
I am home from my vacation. Had a great time, but it is always good to get home! One of the best things was getting to east all the fresh grapefruit off the trees that I wanted! I bought so much material and crafty items that I had to buy a suitcase to come home!! ha. I was not able to sit at my sewing for the first three days. I had to give my back a break! I hope to get back to sewing a purse or two today.
I have a craft sale in Denver coming up on May 12. Christy is helping me gt ready for that. I could not do it without her doing all of my cutting, and Heather helping me match up the appliques! The craft show is at Smakeyhill High School. I hope some of you can come visit my booth! Mention my website and I will give you a discount!!

I want to tell you how "Princess Purses" was born. I live in a community where we have a neighborhood craft show every year. Last year I sewed several of these purses. I took them to our weekly coffee and sold seven of them in a few minutes. With that I sold more and more and more. Now that is basically what I do. Since I have a back injury and cannot work, I find this works well for me. I can sew when I am able and rest when I need to. I know that when you see these, you will fall in love with them like everybody else has. I hope you enjoy them as much as enjoy sewing them! If ever you have any questions, please contact me! I hope that you visit my guest book and leave your comments. I will read each and every one of them!
God bless,
Mary Lou
